These Scissor clamp extension posts are manufactured from S235JR mild steel and are fully hot dipped galvanized to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 after manufacture. Additional finishes (i.e. painting to any RAL or BS number) are available on request. Our painted option is painted to BS 18B25 Merlin Grey. They are designed to increase the length of an existing 76mm diameter sign post or column shaft by 1000mm and come fitted with a 76mm diameter grey PVC cap.
Method of securing is to expand scissor action within the column to grip the inside wall.
